About Us
The Pension Blockheidehof is a cozy bed and breakfast in the idyllic surroundings of the Blockheide Nature Park in Großeibenstein.
Our goal is to offer our guests a relaxing stay in the midst of nature.
Our house is located on the edge of the Blockheide/Malerwinkel nature park and the Lainsitzniederung nature reserve, which also includes the water buffalo pasture.
Directly behind the guesthouse, you'll find the main hiking trail to the nature park's center, complete with observation tower. A 10-minute walk takes you to the center of Gmünd's old town. The Sole-Felsen-Bad (Brine Rock Bath) is also a 10-minute drive away.
Discounted tickets are available to guests.
The idyllic house was built in 1967 with the idea of operating a guesthouse. However, the then owner did not implement the plan. In spring 2024, all rooms were renovated and brought up to date.
Our rooms are equipped with smart TVs, Wi-Fi, a shower/WC, and a hairdryer, and comfortable furnishings. Two of our five rooms also have a spacious balcony with views of the greenery. Another room is perfect for families thanks to its separate children's room.
Private parking and bicycle storage are available to our guests free of charge.
